A nice hole in the wall kind of place. I got a double cheeseburger and my husband got the trout plate. Both dishes were good, although I think we both thought the burger was exceptional. Fries and onions rings were good, too, although we were almost too full to eat them. This place is CASH only. Prices are good, and I guess that helps, although I would prefer they do take cards, but there’s an ATM.
Beaufort's Spot Grill has been around since 1950. To many, including me, it could be called and classified as a local joint. I like an atmospheric thing about the Spot in that millionaires rub elbows with paupers,, fishermen rub elbows with mechanics and professors. One thing for sure, they are all there for the eats! Whether you want a cheese dripping fresh burger or softshell crabs and flounder, Melissa and her ladies cook up everything fresh and exceptionally tasty! Your favorite in season seafood prepared to a tantalizing perfection awaits your next visit! Tell them the other Timberlake artist sent you, the poor, but good looking one!"
We were on vacation and this restaurant popped up with good reviews so we tried it and it didn't disappoint. I had the shrimp plate with fries and everything was seasoned perfectly. My husband had the burger and onion rings and he enjoyed that also
This place is great. Shrimp burger was as fresh as you can get. Fries cooked to perfection. Every thing is cooked to order but well worth the short wait.

A Hole in the Wall of the first order. Local seafood sandwiches and plates served almost straight off the docks. Shrimp sandwich is overflowing with shrimp.
This is a local hole in the wall restaurant, That is a wonderful experience. Absolutely the best shrimp burgers, Softshell crab sandwiches, oyster burgers, as well as of the best hamburgers, hotdogs and cheeseburgers you can get in the area. They have french fries onion rings and coleslaw for side items. My favorite is the locally caught flounder plate. It’s a simple menu of fresh locally caught seafood plus burgers. It’s my go to spot for lunch in Carteret county.
